Identity Verification

Once you have been redirected to Mitek’s website and greeted by the home screen, you will be able to:

• Learn more about Mitek (formally HooYu)
• Read tips that can help you save time such as using your National ID as both your Photo ID and proof of address
• See a list of documents that you will need to confirm your identity

Click the Next button to continue.

You will need the following to complete verification:

• Photo ID: At least 1 photo ID(s)
• Proof of address: At least 1 proof of address document(s)
  • Tip: save time by using your National ID as both your Photo ID and proof of address
• A smartphone or webcam: To complete Liveness Check, you will need a desktop webcam, a laptop camera, or a smartphone

Click the Start button to continue.

Mitek collects sensitive personal data, so it is required to agree to MiTek’s Terms and Conditions before moving forward.

• Click the Agree and Continue button to begin the verification process.
• You can also use the provided links to read Mitek’s Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.

Your data is protected with Mitek’s TLS-encrypted connection. Within 72–96 hours following the successful completion of the ID verification, Mitek will immediately delete all your uploaded documents used to verify your ID.

Please provide one Photo ID and one Proof of Address from the options listed. By using your National ID, you will only need to upload one document as it is both a photo ID and proof of address. Click here for how to verify your identity with your National ID.

You can also select Get Help for assistance, or choose Save for Later if you need to continue at a later time.

Mitek has to make sure that you’re a real person, so a liveness check is required. The liveness check can be done via desktop camera or mobile-phone camera by clicking the “Use your mobile phone” link and choosing either:

• Entering your phone number
• Scanning the QR code with your phone

Start recieving payments!

Once your documents have been confirmed, you will be taken to a screen that will notify you that the process is complete. Clicking the Continue button will take you back to your Account Overview page. With the process completed, you will no longer experience restrictions on receiving payments.
